NutriStyle Seeks to Disrupt Healthcare, Grocery Industries with Artificial Intelligence
By: NutriStyle, Inc.
SEATTLE - Sept. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- NutriStyle, Inc. announced today that it has begun promoting its cloud-based meal planning software application to healthcare systems, grocers and consumer packaged goods companies. The software utilizes proprietary algorithms, enhanced with artificial intelligence and machine learning, to create customized menus and shopping lists tied to a user's local grocer.
The NutriStyle application allows consumers and healthcare professionals to create unique nutrition profiles. Dietary needs and restrictions can be customized by any number of variables or through presets developed for the most common nutrition goals. Once a profile has been created, users can generate daily or weekly menus that meet their dietary needs and budget. Users can also input food likes and dislikes, product and brand preferences, and family recipes.
"Our proprietary food database contains over 330,000 food items," said Scott Murdoch, Ph.D., R.D., NutriStyle's co-founder and chief nutrition officer. "The nutrient and functional characteristics of each food item is used to custom build every menu from the bottom up. All our menus are built from scratch in real time; we don't have any template-based menus. Healthcare professionals are drawn towards NutriStyle because it provides them a tool they can use to easily design comprehensive meal plans with the push of a button."
"NutriStyle also represents a game changer for the grocery and consumer packaged goods industries,"
The application, which can be accessed via desktop, tablet or smartphone, will be made available to healthcare professionals and the public at no cost.
