RUTGERS GSE ALUM, Dr. Michelle Deering's Book, What Mothers Never Tell Their Daughters, CELEBRATES

NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY (SEPTEMBER 7, 2018)— On Thursday, September 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., former longtime SOMERSET, NJ resident, DR. MICHELLE DEERING will be returning to Rutgers to celebrate the worldwide release of her 2018 Author Academy Award-nominated best-selling book, "What Mothers Never Tell Their Daughters: 5 Keys to Building Trust, Restoring Connection, & Strengthening Relationships."
DR. DEERING'S book tells the story of a daughter/mom of twins/psychologist as she shares five principles that will guide mothers and daughters through a proven process for improving the quality of their relationship.
Radio host, Rutgers alum, and NJ licensed psychologist, Dr. Denise Johnson, commented "What Mother's Never Tell Their Daughters, is the perfect combination of wit, charm, insight, compassion, education, practical how-to's…This is a "must-read" for mothers and daughters of all ages, from all walks of life."

Dr. Deering, a sexual abuse survivor, is coming back to her academic roots where she earned her doctorate in counseling psychology from the Graduate School of Education and had worked in the Residential Life Department and CAPS. "I am looking forward to sharing about the background story of my book and having an open discussion with students about how to best navigate a relationship with their mom."
