Beach Bagels Opens New Location in Monkey Junction

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Sept. 6, 2018 - PRLog -- Early birds and breakfast lovers in Wilmington have something to celebrate this week, as Beach Bagels opens for business in Monkey Junction.
Beach Bagels officially opened its doors September 1, providing the area with a fast casual concept serving made in-house, New York style bagels, espresso drinks, and all day breakfast.

Bakery cafe owner Tony Di Norcia said their award-winning breakfast joint, which is the third location in Wilmington, aims to provide families and students with a fun atmosphere and fresh food options.

"We aren't just a bagel shop. We provide opportunity to the community and we just happen to make delicious bagels," Di Norcia said. "The foundation of our business is built around not only good food but giving back. We partner with local organizations for charity and are constantly working to minimize our food waste and be more environmentally-friendly. We, also, have the privilege of employing locals who love our city as much as we do."

Di Norcia said the store's bagels are made the traditional way, kettle-boiled then baked, and made fresh every day. The store's menu includes NC local ingredients, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as fresh-baked bagel sandwiches topped with Boar's Head deli meats and cheeses.

Beach Bagels will soon be adding specialty espresso drinks and smoothies to their menu to compliment their 18 flavors of award-winning bagels.

"This city has been great to us and we just can't say thank you enough. Everyday I wake up thankful for the opportunity to serve good food to people that I absolutely love in a city that I absolutely love," says Di Norcia. "We're looking forward to seeing our neighbors on grand opening day and beyond."

Beach Bagels has grown from its first location in Wrightsville Beach to two additional stores in the Carolinas. This new location will be the third in the Wilmington and surrounding areas.

The Beach Bagels Monkey Junction location is located at 5226 S. College Rd, Wilmington NC, 28412 and is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
