Wireless Rate-Of-Rise Heat Detector Released - Small Size, Big Performance

MaxOut™ Technology is pleased to release a new line of patented wireless, Rate-Of-Rise Heat Detectors that sense a rise in temperature - indicating a possible fire.

MINNEAPOLIS - July 11, 2018 - PRLog -- The extremely small RF-ROR series (Radio Frequency Rate-of-Rise)  and the Rate-of-Rise hardwire detectors use electronic processing to detect and report rising temperature. Electronic processing enables the device to detect multiple occurrences over many years; an advantage over one-shot fuse link type devices. The micro-processor trips the on-board transmitter when the temperature at the detector reaches the selected fixed temperature of 135°F (57°C) or 200°F (93°C) and automatically resets after the detector cools.

"Compared to other heat detectors, the extremely small foot-print of this sensor (2.25" D x1.5" H) makes it the small-size market leader with all the performance and reliability of much larger sensors", said Dennis Dop, Vice President Sales of MaxOut Technology. "Our goals in engineering life safety and security sensors are: maximum RF range, effective performance, very small footprint, and long battery life. Usually it is possible to achieve many of these features, but not all four. With this new line of wireless and hardwired Rate-of-Rise detectors, we were able to hit the mark on all of the product design goals", adds Dop.

MaxOut® Technology Rate-of-Rise Sensors are available in: Wireless: 319.5 MHz and 345 MHz formats with selectable temperature;135°F (57°C) or 200°F (93°C) and Hard Wire: Selectable temperature; 135°F (57°C) or 200°F (93°C)
