Pade Okunola Tasks Muslims To Present The Challenges Of Osun People To God In Ramadan Prayers

ILE-IFE, Nigeria - May 23, 2018 - PRLog -- Osun State Gubernatorial Aspirant Pastor Pade Okunola congratulates Muslims on the observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan, and he enjoins them to engage in special prayers specifically for a peaceful political transition in Osun State during this period dedicated to meditating in the will of God. Pastor Pade emphasized that maturity in leadership requires that people with special grace commit to intercede for wisdom from God in the management of the affairs of men. He notes that Osun State finds herself at a particular crossroads of history where the people do not know what to believe anymore. Therefore, he enjoins Muslims to use this unique period of grace to pray that God visits us with His mercies to provide excellent leadership that will bring real positive change for sustainable development to Osun State people.

Julius Olapade Okunola is Pastor, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Victory House, Dallas Metro, Texas, USA. He is a Modakeke-born American-based Industrialist. He hails from the Ogunsua Ruling House in Modakeke, Osun State. He is President of Onward Shipping and Clearing Services, Dallas, Texas; Rapha Agro-Allied Industries and JRapha Foods, both of which are in Osogbo, Osun State of Nigeria.

Pastor Pade is a founding member of the social-philanthropic group – Osun Development Forum. He was a member of the committee that secured the Partner City status for Osogbo with the City of Wilmington, USA. He is a member of the Accord Party of Nigeria. Pastor Pade believes that Osun State is blessed with enough resources to transform our community into a prosperous one if only the people can re-focus their energies powered by a similar positive mindset that has worked for other cities.

Okunola's friends are organizing a fund-raising party to support the political aspiration to run for the office of the Governor of Osun State of Nigeria. The fund-raising party holds in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Sheraton Hotels, Arlington, Texas from 7 PM from where the train moves on to Nigeria. Okunola says that a cycle of poverty begins with the emasculation of the mind of man. Quoting from Bernard Shaw, Okunola posits that "Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything." Therefore, the starting conversation is this; the change that we seek for our state's progress must begin with our minds. We must convince ourselves that the leader able to bring real reform to our state does not necessarily have to come from the big political parties. Okunola says that everyone in Osun State has a responsibility to contribute to the well-being of our state and its future. He enjoined Muslims that to bring the necessary change about cannot be without the sanction of God. Hence, it becomes crucial for Muslims to take this matter to God, so that He can return prosperity to Osun state as a gateway to restoring the economy of Nigeria to its deserved enviable condition.
