NEW DELHI - May 9, 2018 - PRLog -- There has been considerable increase in bold attacks on Army camps and paramilitary patrols by insurgents in Jammu & Kashmir and in the state of Chhattisgarh in central India in the last 2-3 years.

The armed forces and the home ministry has set aside considerable funds to secure bases against further attacks. Airfields, both Air Force owned and Navy, have been given priority.

Army, Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary and Ordnance Factory officers will be attending a seminar & exhibition on Force Protection & Soldier Technology in New Delhi on 18-19 July 2018.

The focus of the event is on Surveillance and perimeter protection, Critical infrastructure protection, Soldier protection & body armour, Bullet-proofing, Airbase and aircraft protection, Vehicles/ helicopters/ ships protection, Ballistic & special technical textiles, Counter-IED equipment, Combat and high altitude survival, medical triage and CBRNe protection.
