Chapter 3 introduces Bethany, a retired great grandmother searching for her "path" in life. Chapter 4 welcomes one of my favorite mother's, my great-grandmother. In chapter 5, Rachel, a single, expectant mother comes on the scene.

In chapter 6, we meet Kim, a group fitness instructor. In chapter 7, you meet the mother who began it all for me, my Mama. Chapter 8 introduces Marie whose youngest son is battling   Cystic   Fibrosis.  Chapter   9 introduces Jane Norton, a Rear Admiral in the US Navy. In chapter 10, you meet Vicky, a single mother incarcerated in the Louisiana Correctional   Institute for Women, and in chapter 11, we conclude with Ethel, a victim of domestic violence.

When Cecilia and I married in 1979, my mother gave us some simple, yet profound advice: "Do you love her? Is she the right 'one' for you? If she is, you will cherish growing old together. If not, this choice will haunt you the rest of your life".

Author, ordained minister, husband, father, grandfather, avid jogger and bowling enthusiast are but a few of life's treasures that James has embraced since retiring from the navy; a career that spanned almost three decades and touched five of the seven continents of the world.
