Qualmet to Host Panel at Kentucky Bar Association's 27th Annual Issues for Corporate Counsel

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - April 18, 2018 - PRLog -- Qualmet (http://www.qualmetlegal.com/), developers of a cloud-based law firm performance management platform, announced today that the company will be hosting a panel titled "Law Firm Performance Management: From Cost Center to Strategic Partner – In-House Counsel Redefines Value" at the Kentucky Bar Association's 27th Annual Issues for Corporate House Counsel CLE Seminar. The seminar is being held Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the University of Louisville ShelbyHurst Campus.

James Beckett, CEO of Qualmet, will be facilitating the panel discussion alongside Bryan Hudson, EVP, GC and secretary at Atria Senior Living and Henry Alford, managing director at Middleton Reutlinger. This session will discuss how in-house counsel can be much more than a cost center and how they, and the law firms they work with, can become strategic partners that add value to the overall business. One CLE credit is available to attendees of this session.

"I am really looking forward to this event. Bryan and Hank are some of the most fearless legal leaders around, and together they showcase a strong, aligned relationship between in-house and outside counsel," states Beckett. "This panel is designed to get in-house attorneys thinking of ways they can show their department's value to the C-suite within their organization. It will also showcase ways in which outside counsel can support their client as a strategic partner. I want to thank both Bryan and Hank for joining me on the panel and sharing their legal insights on the topic."

The Kentucky Bar Association is an independent agency of the Supreme Court of Kentucky. Its authority to regulate the legal profession in Kentucky, delegated by the Kentucky Supreme Court through rules, is derived from the Kentucky Constitution. Currently, the KBA serves approximately 18,770 active and inactive Kentucky licensed attorneys. This event has been accredited with 6.5 CLE credits, including 2 ethics credits.
