UPSL National Player Of The Week: Cal United FC II's Christian Gordillo

LOS ANGELES - April 17, 2018 - PRLog -- Cal United FC II forward Christian Gordillo has been named UPSL National Player of the Week. A native of Mexico, Gordillo scored six goals in a 10-0 victory over SFV Scorpions FC in a UPSL Pro Premier Western Conference game on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Gordillo started and played 60 minutes for Cal United FC II (4-0-0 overall), which stayed atop the UPSL Pro Premier Western Conference table with the victory.

Gordillo, who last played for FC Jaurez in Ascenso MX, scored five of his six within a 16-minute stretch ('5, '11, '14, '16, '21) before adding one more early in the second half. He currently has nine goals in four games this season.

The UPSL National Player of the Week is selected each week of the regular season by members of the league and journalists covering the UPSL.
