IKORCC 2018 Open House Dates - RSVP While You Can!

INDIANAPOLIS - April 2, 2018 - PRLog -- Carpenters Union hosting free Career & Technical Education open houses throughout month of April

Beginning April 11, the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters (IKORCC) will be hosting its annual apprenticeship open houses at their state-of-the-art training center locations throughout the state. All open houses are free to attend and open to the general public.

The open houses feature crafts skills competitions, training facility tours, vendor
and contractor displays, refreshments and much more. High school students, apprentices, contractors, local and state elected officials, educators and all community members are welcome to attend.

The open houses provide a great opportunity for people considering a career in the trades to learn more about the apprenticeship program. Through the IKORCC's four-year apprenticeship program, apprentices are equipped with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and innovative training necessary to succeed in future careers in the construction industry. Apprentices are offered comprehensive benefits and receive a college degree upon completion of the program.
