TARGET ARM LLC Completes Phase 1 Assembly of the Talon Prototype

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - March 5, 2018 - PRLog -- TARGET ARM LLC announced today the completion of assembly of the 1/6th-scale prototype of Talon, utilizing the patented Pin Array Chambering System (PACS). Talon enables safe, efficient and repeatable launch and recovery of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) from another airborne platform.  Next up for Phase 1, Target Arm will begin static bench testing of the 1/6th-scale prototype with various drones to determine operational specifications, procedures and safety protocols, followed by flight testing with launch and release from a moving ground vehicle.

For the commercial sector, Talon enables, but again is not limited to, new search and rescue capabilities across the oceans and austere environments, more effective disaster responses and even to oil/gas pipeline inspections through wilderness areas. With Talon, Target Arm calculates UASs will evolve quickly to remove their landing gear; thereby, improving their payload, range, time on station, volley rates, and most importantly, ROI.
