City Council Members Foley and Stephens Listening Tour

COSTA MESA, Calif. - Jan. 29, 2018 - PRLog -- Listening Tour at Pomona Elementary Tonight:  During her tenure as the City of Costa Mesa Mayor 2016-2017,  Katrina Foley led the city council with a goal of restoring civility during the meetings, including all voices in the public discussions, and in her desire to hear from residents of all communities in Costa Mesa, she began launching listening tours in our town.

On Monday evening, January 29th, City Council members Katrina Foley and John Stephens will be the hosts at the listening tour held at the Pomona Elementary School as part of an on-going series designed to give residents of the various Costa Mesa neighborhoods a chance to let their voices be heard.   There is no charge to attend and teens are welcome.   The two council members want residents desiring to discuss relevant issues related to their Westside neighborhood.

These two dedicated public servants want to hear from you about your Westside neighborhood concerns and identify improvements needed. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you tonight!

Tonight's program will include an update from city staff about street and neighborhood improvements, Lion's Park Project update, & other Westside Projects update, as well as info about the neighborhood watch program & how to form, and info about our police & Fire explorer programs for teens. After the presentations we will send the microphone around the room so each participant can ask a question or share a concern. Time is limited so we will try to make sure no one person …takes more than 30-45 seconds. Our goal is to hear from all, but we will also try to answer as many questions as possible as time allows. If we don't know the answer or run out of time, all questions/concerns will be documented and city staff member will prepare responses that will be shared with the public within a week after the program.
