e-ImageData Receives Platinum in 2018 Modern Library Awards from LibraryWorks
The ScanPro® 2200 wins recognition as a top microfilm scanner on market.
By: e-ImageData Corp
The MLAs were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. Products and services were submitted in the fall using a simple application, and then were posted on a private site with an enhanced description and attendant materials. These products were batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic, and special libraries. Only those with experience with these products/services in their facilities were permitted to judge the products/services, resulting in a truly unbiased score.
Each judge scored the product on a numeric basis from 1-10 on a series of questions pertaining to topics such as functionality, value and customer service.
"It is such an honor to be voted a number one microfilm scanner on the market by librarians and microfilm users," says James Westoby, President of e-ImageData.
"Customer satisfaction is why we continually strive to produce the most innovative products at the highest quality."
"The award-winning ScanPro 2200 is the lowest cost, full featured desktop scanner on the market. It makes it possible for libraries and patrons to experience the latest technology and features along with the exceptional ease-of-use, all at a budget friendly price. Patrons have even reported that the ScanPro microfilm scanners "make working with microfilm fun".
Jenny Newman, publisher and MLA program manager said, "It's hardly a surprise that e-ImageData scored so well. They've been at the forefront of the industry since their company entered the market in 1989."
