Follow on Google News | Garvey's Office Products Recycles for Chicago Child Care SocietyGarvey's Office Products announces its 1st quarter recycling candidate as Chicago Child Care Society, raising donations for the oldest child welfare agency in the state of Illinois.
"At Chicago Child Care Society, we believe in the power of a strong community," says Dara Munson, Chicago Child Care Society CEO. "We're excited to be working with Garvey's Office Products on the Recycle for a Reason initiative, and so grateful to have been chosen as their first nonprofit beneficiary of 2018. The funds raised will allow us to continue our mission of providing children and families from Chicago's under-resourced communities with access to essential education and supportive programs that open a world of positive choices and relationships." The Recycle for a Reason Program functions by taking used toners, old electronics and flattened cardboard and recycling these materials into monetary donations. These profits are then 100% donated to the candidate assigned for that quarter. Since its inception, over $306,000 has been raised for local charities. The collection period for the CCCS runs until March 31, 2018. Donations may be dropped off at Garvey's Office Products (7500 N. Caldwell, Niles IL 60714) Monday – Friday from 9-5 PM.
