Safety Valve Installation Precautions

IRVINE, Calif. - Jan. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- (1) The newly installed safety valve should have product certification. Before installation, it should be repeated calibration, and be sealed.

(2) Safety valve should be installed vertically in the container or pipe gas phase interface position.

(3) Safety valve outlet should be no resistance, to avoid back pressure. If installed drain pipe, its diameter should be greater than the safety valve outlet diameter. Safety valve exclusion should be paid attention to antifreeze. For containers containing flammable or toxic and highly toxic media, the drain pipe should be routed to an outdoor safety location or be properly disposed of. Drain pipe is not allowed to install any valve.

(4) There shall be no valve between pressure-bearing equipment and safety valve. Containing flammable, explosive, toxic or viscous media containers, in order to facilitate replacement, cleaning, shut-off valve can be chosen to install. Its structure and size should not interfere with the normal operation of the safety valve. In its normal operation, the globe valve must be fully open and sealed.

(5) For pressure vessels that are flammable, explosive or poisonous, the safety valve must have a safety device and a recovery system to discharge the medium from the safety valve. Lever safety valve must be installed vertically, and spring safety valve is also the best to select vertical installation, so as not to affect its operation. It should also be installed in conjunction with the coaxial parts, so that each bolt evenly force. The cross-sectional area of the connecting short pipe between the safety valve and the boiler pressure vessel shall not be less than the cross-section of the safety valve. The safety valve is installed in a connecting pipe whose cross-sectional area of the pipe should not be less than the sum of the safety valve flow cross-sectional area of 1.25 times.
