Upcoming IEEE Session to Address the Topic of "Power Plant Cycling Causality"

LITTLETON, Colo. - Dec. 18, 2017 - PRLog -- Renewable Impacts LLC (RI) announced today that James R. Schetter, its President, will be a presenter at the upcoming IEEE PES Joint Technical Committee Meeting.  Mr. Schetter will present on Tuesday January 9^th on the topic of power plant cycling causality at the "J18 Impact of Inverter-based Sources on Rotating Machinery" session.

Power plant cycling causality covers the cause and effect relationships between individual dispatchable power plants and all interconnected resources and loads within a balancing authority. Cycling causality analysis can identify the parties responsible for cycling and the degree of their responsibility.
