Orphanage in Uganda Needs Support

HOUSTON - Nov. 30, 2017 - PRLog -- Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,

Many of you know that I organize raising support for a small orphanage of 50 children in Jinja, Uganda, East Africa, Light for Orphans Ministry.

God placed this beautiful family on my heart almost four years ago when they were in such dire straits that Kirunda Moses (the administrator) sold his computer and printer to buy food for the children.  They were eating only one meal a day and that consisted of nothing but rice.

During the past few years I was able to secure the support of about 15 people, consistently, making monthly donations.

I have never felt so blessed since starting this work.  Watching the children, God's precious children, grow and thrive.

As a "family" we pray for each other through sickness, injuries and needs.  We rejoice together as God rains down His blessings.

This past year and a half I have lost some of those people due to death, loss of work, and other financial hardships.

I'm seeking your help to cover the loss of support for the children.

No amount is too small – it's consistency that is needed so Kirunda can budget for food, utilities, medicine and clothing.

Please know that I do this because God told me to.  I don't take anything for administration fees like some organizations.  The only fees are what Chase bank charges for the LFOM account and the fees for the Western Union transfers.  Both are very small.

You will be blessed, continually, with updates and photos of the children.
