Eddy Home Receives RIBO Accreditation

TORONTO - Nov. 16, 2017 - PRLog -- Eddy Home, the award-winning Canadian based manufacturer of smart home water monitoring and leak detection systems, is proud to announce recent RIBO accreditation for its course, "Overland Flooding and Smart Water Sensing Technology," a seminar that discusses the growing threat of overland flooding and the impact of sensing technology for early detection.

The Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) is the accrediting body for all independent insurance brokers in the province of Ontario, regulating broker licensing, professional conduct, and continuing education. RIBO requires all brokers to obtain a minimum of 10 continuing education hours every year to maintain their license.

Eddy Home's course is an in-person, instructor-led seminar offering two Technical hours for brokers. This accreditation is the second Eddy Home course to be approved by RIBO. The first course, "The Internet of Things and Risk Reduction for Homeowners," received accreditation in May of 2017, and has been presented to more than 400 brokers in Ontario
