PODS® Phoenix on board to support Honoring Arizona's Veterans in Phoenix's Veterans Day Parade

PHOENIX - Oct. 25, 2017 - PRLog -- The streets will once again serve as the setting for Honoring Arizona's Veterans (HAV) Phoenix's premier event, the annual Phoenix Veterans Day Parade.  On Saturday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., PODS® Phoenix will help raise further awareness by encouraging the community to come together to honor those who have served their country through outreach and by making a donation to HAV.

The famous white and red PODS container as well as the kids' favorite, PODZILLA^TM truck will travel along the 2.5 mile route amongst thousands of Arizonians to show their support for local veterans.  In addition to the donation on the day of, PODS Phoenix will donate $1 to HAV for every new 'like' they receive on its Facebook page.

A local non-profit, HAV is completely supported by the donations from local businesses and sponsors to provide support to Veterans as they reintegrate back into civilian life. Phoenix's annual Veterans Day Parade is HAV's premier recognition event that brings together the community to honor those who have bravely served their country.

"This parade serves to heal those who have served our country by showing that we as a community respect and support them," said Mike Smith, Vice President of Operations for PODS Phoenix. "Taking part in the parade is our small way of saying thank you."

Phoenix's Veterans Day Parade will begin at North Baptist Church where it will then travel down the parade route, ending at Indian School Rd.

This is an additional fun event by PODS Phoenix for Veterans; they have also worked with Dunkin' Donuts and other Veterans organizations through the years.
