Kolar Design to Showcase Spectacular Art Installation at BLINK Cincinnati
The Enchanted Forest theme celebrates not only Charley Harper as a signature artist of the parks, but how our parks are one of our city's biggest assets. We have more green space than any other city our size, and have created a new concept, a "Pop Up Park," overnight in a parking lot. The Park Board is donating lumber, the nest, and even labor to help us construct it. In addition, The Motz Group is donating the turf, labor, and installation (5000 feet of grass). It promises to be a great family venue.
"Kolar is proud to be co-creating with our artistic partners and practicing at the intersection of art, business and the community," says Kelly Kolar, president.
Not only is Kolar Design participating in BLINK, Kelly Kolar is speaking on Retail Innovation, Re:thinking the End-to-End Retail Experience, during Brandemonium's International Brand Conference & Festival October 11-14, at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Brandemonium will have two different event styles: a conference aspect which will include more than 80 keynotes, panels, mentor sessions and workshops, representing companies as well-known and diverse as Google, Target, Kroger, Southwest Airlines, Gorilla Glue and P&G; and a festival aspect which will give brands an opportunity to engage while "taking over" the city with brand activations including installations, performances, lounges and more.
In addition, Kolar Design's exhibit at NKU In:sight, a showcase of excellence in strategy and creative risk in regional design on NKU's campus, focuses on how Kolar engages with communities and clients. We invite the visitors to the gallery to express what they love about their community or neighborhood. The gallery is open until October 20th from 9:00am to 9:00pm, Monday through Friday, with over 25 local firms participating.
