ISEA Honour Africa STEM and Video Game Research and Biola Demola Adeagbo

Pan African STEM Video Game Challenge recognized by International STEM Education Association(ISEA) with Prestigious Mike Neden STEM Champion Award at ISEA-STEM Expo in Branson, Missouri, USA.
 
CENTURION, South Africa - Oct. 4, 2017 - PRLog -- Biola Adeagbo-Olawore, CEO of Thumbrage and Africa STEM and Video Game Research, promoter of Pan African STEM Video Game Challenge and Nigerian STEM Video Game Challenge, on Tuesday night, October 10th will receive Mike Neden STEM Champion at isea-STEM expo 2017 at Branson, Missouri, USA. He will be recognized for promoting STEM and game-based learning in Africa through Pan African STEM Video Game Challenge.

International STEM Education Association was set up to promotes STEM education all over the world and to establish a professional association that supports STEM Educators in the K-12 classroom and promotes STEM Education as the cornerstone of innovation and excellence in educational experiences that are imperative for success in the technological world of today and tomorrow.

To be named a Mike Neden STEM champion award recipient is to join an elite group of educational innovators. All recipients of this award share one very important quality. They have taken direct action to be a true champion of STEM education that impacts all students in the classroom.

Africa STEM and Video Game Research organized the Pan African STEM Video Game Challenge with the spirit of Pan African-ism and the mission of the Pan African STEM Video Game Challenge is to connect and engage African students across the continent from north to south, from east to west with STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines in a new, creative and exciting way, and to facilitate game-based learning that inspires and prepares the next generation of African students for the future.

Pan African STEM Video Game Challenge is a game design challenge that engages African school students from Middle Primary school to High school, to create an original video game based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics theme and concept across Africa and learn vital skills for the future through designing, building and testing an original video game.

The Mike Neden STEM Champion Awards serve as a standard of excellence for individuals who promote integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
