Active Migration Australia x #Aussiebanget 2017

A joint-event of Active Migration Australian and Australian Consulate-General Bali.

BADUNG, Indonesia - Oct. 4, 2017 - PRLog -- At the invitation of Australian Consulate General Bali,  ACTIVE MIGRATION AUSTRALIA will co-host the Pojok #Aussiebanget or #Aussiebanget Corner at Udayana University on October 6, 2017. ACTIVE MIGRATION AUSTRALIA's Managing Director, Scott Walker, will be the keynote speaker of the open invitation event.

About #Aussiebanget

#Aussiebanget is a year-long program launched in early 2017 by the Australian Embassy in Indonesia. The Embassy designed it as a cultural exchange program between the two neighbouring countries. It aims to promote Australian tourism and education to more Indonesians. One of the approaches is by launching several hubs, called pojok or "corners" at top local universities across Indonesian cities. Bali is one of them.

On a press release of the previous Bali's #Aussiebanget event, the Australian Consulate-General, Dr. Helena Studdert, said that Bali  ranked among the 7th highest source of international students in Australia. This was one of the reasons to launch the corner in Bali at Udayana University.

"The Corner was created to encourage students in Bali to pursue Australian education by providing relevant information and give students their first taste of Australia," she added further.

Pojok #Aussiebanget x Active Migration Australia

Active Migration Australia will host the Pojok #Aussiebanget's October 6 event on the 2nd Floor of the Udayana University's Language Lab on their Jalan Jendral Sudirman campus.

On that event, students can come and educate themselves about Australia in general and Australian education in particular. They can also learn from various books and online resources that they can access on the spot.

As a guest lecturer, AMA's Managing Director, Scott Walker can advise the student attendees on how to prepare for their student visa application or to map out their study plan. He can also advise on the 485 Temporary Graduate Visa (http://www.activemigration.com.au/485-diy-pack/) that will enable international students, in this case, Indonesians, to extend their stay in Australia.

"Students can use the 485 visa to extend their study, travel or get a job after they finished their primary study. Therefore, it's a great instrument for those who want to get the most of their Australian experience," he said in an occasion.

Not just that, during the Q and A session, students can also learn from Scott about living and studying in Australia.
