MILWAUKEE - Sept. 14, 2017 - PRLog -- Kepler's Dream, a multi-award winning family drama starring Sean Patrick Flannery (Boondocks Saints), Kelly Lynch (Charlie's Angels), Holland Taylor (The Truman Show, Legally Blonde), and Steven Michael Quezada (Breaking Bad) will have three screenings at the Milwaukee Film Festival on September 30, October 1 and October 7.

Based on a popular young adult novel by Sylvia Brownrigg written under the pseudonym Juliet Bell, Kepler's Dream has received honors at the Mill Valley Film Festival, Julien Dubuque Film Festival and others, and now makes its Milwaukee debut two months ahead of its December 1 theatrical day-and-date release in Los Angeles, New York, and nine other cities.

Kepler's Dream tells the story of 11-year-old Ella (Isabella Blake-Thomas, Once Upon a Time), who is sent to spend the summer on the isolated New Mexico ranch of her reclusive grandmother, Violet von Stern (Taylor), while Ella's mother (Lynch) undergoes a bone marrow transplant hundreds of miles away. Though she initially bristles at Violet's endless rules, Ella soon makes friends with the farmhand, Miguel (Quezada), and his daughter, Rosie (Esperanza Fermin). When a priceless book disappears from Violet's collection, Ella must solve the mystery behind its disappearance to protect her newfound friends and earn her grandmother's respect. Set against the breath-taking backdrop of the New Mexico desert, Kepler's Dream is at once a coming-of-age story, a mystery, and a drama about mending a broken family. Tickets for the Milwaukee screenings are available at https://mkefilm.org/tickets/

Kepler's Dream is distributed in the U.S. and represented worldwide by Leomark Studios (http://leomarkstudios.com), a Los Angeles-based production and distribution company with a catalogue of more than 200 titles. Other upcoming Leomark releases include Coffin 2, which will hit Redbox kiosks nationwide in October, and a new cut of the John Hawkes' starrer Harold Buttleman: Daredevil Stuntman, scheduled for release in 2018.
