The Katy Warriors Basketball Program is Looking Great for the 2017 Spring Season

HOUSTON - March 7, 2017 - PRLog -- The Katy Warriors Basketball Program, a girls high school aged AAU basketball club located in West Houston, " is looking great for the 2017 Spring season," says director and coach Frank Hursh. "We recognized the need to offer superior training to our athletes to give them the greatest opportunity to succeed on the court and in the classroom " said, coach Frank Hursh. This thought process lead to the hiring of coach Joseph Harris a former player with collegiate and professional experience. Coach Joseph Harris of The Katy Warriors Basketball Program concentrates on the big things in basketball but, emphasizes the little things that separate the good from the great. Coach Joseph Harris is the owner and developer of www.illusioninstitute.com a basketball training program that is designed to elevate a players ability and increase their opportunity to compete at a higher level such as college. " We are focusing on NCAA tournaments and getting these female athletes to focus on the big picture, their development and their future " says coach Frank Hursh. The Katy Warriors Basketball Program selected athletes for the 2017 season from around the greater Houston area who are built and designed to overachieve. " We have some great girls this year, now it's time to go to work! " says coach Frank Hursh. The Katy Warriors Basketball Program, a girls AAU program is located in West Houston and Katy and operates as a 501c3 non profit program committed to the development of girls AAU basketball.

This Spring / Summer 2017 season The Katy Warriors Basketball Program will concentrate on playing NCAA sanctioned tournaments during the girls NCAA open periods. As a result The Lady Warriors will play in approximately 12 tournaments, some of which are in Texas while others will be out of state. " We are excited about presenting our girls in the NCAA events in front of the various collegiate scouts and want to make great showings " says coach Frank Hursh. One such event that coach Joseph Harris has scheduled the Katy Warriors Basketball Program to play in is, The Las Vegas Classic put on by www.bigfoothoops.com. " We expect a large number of D1 recruiters to be attending this tournament and are excited about the opportunity afforded and to give exposure to our girls from some west coasts colleges and university's " say coach Joseph Harris. Early estimations put The Las Vegas Classic tournament at over 1100 teams in what they refer to as basketball week celebration.
