Follow on Google News | The unofficial children's book of the post-truth eraHelp your little one prepare for a world in which facts don't matter with this hilarious alphabet book
"This is a tongue-in-cheek children's book meant to show the ridiculousness of living in a world where facts are no longer facts," said Roberts. "It sometimes feels like politicians are asking us to believe that 'dog' is spelled C-A-T. If politicians wrote children's books, the results would look an awful lot like this." The book is formatted like a children's alphabet book and features over 30 full color photographs. Each image is accompanied by wildly inaccurate descriptions, like a picture of a horse with the phrase T is for Pizza, or a goat with the words J is for Robot. "I am a little nervous that someone will actually read this book to their child and not notice that it's a parody," said Roberts. "These days, it can be hard to tell where reality ends and parody begins." Outside the Lines Press is a family owned independent publisher based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
