Follow on Google News | Entire Face Off With Cancer Board of Directors Returns For Another YearAfter a landmark year, all seven directors have been re-elected for additional terms to continue leading the growth and development of the organization through the end of Calendar Year 2017.
President & CEO Ryan King delivered reports regarding the ongoing '$60K in 60 Days' Giving Campaign and shared some of the stories of the families that the organization has been able to help during the holiday season. Vice President Jennifer King shared her excitement about the direction that the organization has taken during the past year and her enthusiasm to continue that growth well into the future. Secretary Matthew McKenna echoed these sentiments and provided input to additional expansion and development opportunities in the Southern California Hockey Community. Treasurer Shirit Hallevi provided the year-to-date financial Reports and end-of-year forecasts to the President for delivery at the meeting. These reports reflected a record year in both fundraising and giving for the organization. Board Member Chris King was elected to the position of the Audit Committee Chairman and will begin taking on the responsibility of leading the internal audit process of the organization's financials, a necessary function as the organization continues to grow. Director of Development Jeremy Aaronson provided updates on year-end fundraising campaigns as well as an outline for the coming year's development plans.
