CHERRY HILL, N.J. - Dec. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Grace in the Mud is pleased to announce that it recently named Rae Pastore to its board of trustees. As a Cherry Hill non-profit, GRACE is a fully immersive enrichment program designed to empower local preadolescent girls.

Pastore, a Marlton resident and VP of sales and marketing of Kokua Technologies, serves as Chair of GRACE's Development committee.

"I was drawn to GRACE because of its purpose. I know what these young girls are going through as I had similar experiences when I was their age," explains Pastore, who is a survivor of domestic violence and severe childhood trauma.

In addition to her leadership role at Kokua Technologies, Pastore has worked as client liaison for numerous Fortune 500 companies, execute administrator at Haddonfield's Bancroft, and volunteered at the Child Crisis Center of Phoenix. As a strong supporter of the Equal Rights Act, Pastore was recently appointed as the Cherry Hill chapter president of the National Association of Professional Women.

GRACE is a purposed-filled 501(c)(3) enrichment program designed especially for girls ages 9 through 11 based on the results of an ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Study evaluation. The GRACE team designed its curriculum to promote positive identity formation, facilitate healthy character development, and instill civic responsibility through community service. Through the program, girls hope to overcome life-altering experiences before they reach adulthood.
