Just Go Live on Facebook was created by Stephen Byrd of Bowie, Maryland, Mr, Byrd created the app after designing his own Live Streaming Coded Library in 2011 and realizing that live streaming can replace the standard video recording. In May 2016 Mr Byrd released the beta version of Just Go Live app for testing, and in September 2016 the full version of Just Go Live app was released on the Android and I-Tunes app stores.

The success of Just Go Live to Facebook has also been a success in funding and as of October 2016 the Just Go Live app will be funded through the year 2017 from angel funding sources.  Mr Byrd stated that he is stun as well by the success of Just Go Live and is looking to advance the app and its features to it's full potential.
