ST. CHARLES, Ill. - Nov. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- The holiday season begins with a bountiful Thanksgiving Day Brunch created by Executive Chef Tiffany Tooker and her culinary team at Pheasant Run.  This year Chef Tooker presents a multi-course menu filled with made-from-scratch breakfast and brunch favorites including omelets, waffles, and freshly-baked pastries, fresh salads and seafood, and both traditional and refined entrees complemented by scrumptious desserts.  Served from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., the family-friendly feast costs $39.95 for adults, and $14.95 for children ages 4-12; free 3 and under.

"I pour my passion for cooking into every dish we create so families can relax and enjoy one another's company over a delicious and festive feast at Pheasant Run Resort," says Chef Tooker.

The expansive buffet menu includes seasonal soup and salads including a roasted butternut squash bisque, peel-and-eat shrimp, and chopped salad for starters.  The traditional carving stations are anything but routine, featuring carved Vermont turkey and corn bread stuffing with a choice of traditional sage gravy and fig-pinot noir chutney; bone-in Virginia Ham with apricot mustard glaze; and cracked peppercorn encrusted top round of beef with rosemary brandy demi glace.

Selections from the pasta station offer pumpkin ravioli or cavatappi pasta with classic tomato basil or roasted garlic béchamel while additional entrées and side dishes feature citrus crusted Atlantic salmon with chive reduction, sliced turkey accompanied by traditional corn bread stuffing with sage dressing, sweet potato gratin, green bean casserole, and home-style mascarpone whipped potatoes.

No holiday table would be complete without sweets, and the freshly-baked temptations include Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Bread Pudding and the popular Pheasant Run Apple and Cherry Cobbler Skillet Station.
