By: Swimovate Ltd The PoolMatePlus will track swims in both pools and open water, giving a comprehensive array of swim metrics such as duration, laps, distance, strokes, calories, sets, rest time and efficiency. If you don't have an Android phone all is not lost, as the PoolMatePlus will also sync data to a PC or Mac via a USB pod which is included in the package. Data can be transferred from phone or computer to mypoolmate.com the swim tracking website for further analysis, to share with facebook or take part in virtual challenges. Lisa Irlam, CEO of Swimovate said: "NFC technology is a great addition to our watches, it does not need pairing like Bluetooth and does not affect the battery life, the PoolMatePlus has a battery life of over 2 years.
