PoolMatePlus with NFC, sync swim data to Android phone with a touch

STAINES, U.K. - Oct. 31, 2016 - PRLog -- NFC (aka Near Field Communications) is already used for contactless payment systems and is included in the vast majority of smartphones. As well as payment details, NFC can be used to transfer other data.  Swimovate have developed an Android app that will receive and display swim data by briefly holding the watch to the device.

The PoolMatePlus will track swims in both pools and open water, giving a comprehensive array of swim metrics such as duration, laps, distance, strokes, calories, sets, rest time and efficiency. If you don't have an Android phone all is not lost, as the PoolMatePlus will also sync data to a PC or Mac via a USB pod which is included in the package. Data can be transferred from phone or computer to mypoolmate.com the swim tracking website for further analysis, to share with facebook or take part in virtual challenges.
