XonaSoftware Releases Situate™ Automation 1.9.0 for Capital Markets

Situate UI now includes a Chrome web browser. The welcome panel (the first window opened) has been completely redesigned using HTML5 and other web client side technologies. This features marks a the start of a transition to a fully web-based viewer. Reporting - Audit-on-demand
In Situate-1.9.0, significant, new reporting features have been added that replace the previous "Past Run" view and now show both backward and forward in time. Another new feature called, "Audit-on-demand", makes it possible to simply click on a user, an asset or workflow and quickly determine what has or will run using the selected resource - instantly providing audit reports to help fulfill compliance requirements.

Interact Task
Situate-1.9.0 introduces a new task called, "Interact task". Using this new task, workflows can interact with a human being.  The feature proves extremely useful when there are steps in a workflow that must be manually performed, need manager approval or require a person to initiate a recovery or alternate path in a workflow due to a failure or unexpected event.

Date Variables & Date/Time Views
With the new release of Situate, creating complex date expressions like, next business day, day before the holiday, the last Sunday of the month and more are made simple by the introduction of new date expressions generator.

Along with the simplicity of building date expressions, Situate 1.9.0 introduces the "show clocks" feature in reporting views allowing users to look at reports from the perspective of any time zone they operate. This is particularly useful when workflows run in different time zones and in and around time changes (spring forward/fall back).
