XonaSoftware Releases Situate 1.4, Includes iOS Mobile Platform Launch

With the 1.4 release, XonaSoftware will make available a free mobile application for iOS devices. Situate Mobile app brings the power of enterprise automation control to the iPhone and iPad devices. The iOS mobile application will enable customers to leverage XonaSoftware’s powerful workflow technology -- providing execution and control of complex IT support tasks.
Situate Mobile brings realtime visibility into computer assets allowing users to see all active processes, view memory information and even obtain performance views across their IT infrastructure.

New Features
Situate 1.4 features its new Desktop Controller technology for Microsoft Windows platforms that enables Administrators to perform workflow operations in any remote terminal session on a Windows server.
Customers can now define and associate assets with groups making it easier than ever to find and access computer assets. Users simply drag-n-drop assets between groups to provide custom views.
All asset groups can be viewed in a new consolidated view -- providing a neat and informative look at a set of computer assets and its attributes.
Other enhancements in Situate 1.4 include easier, yet more customizable, Microsoft Windows installations. Situate adds better support for navigating Windows file systems in the UI. Improvements to the auto-upgrade process makes Situate even simpler to upgrade to new releases.
