Devon Ellington's short "The Possession of Nattie Filmore" available for free download

CAPE COD, Mass. - Oct. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- For a limited time over the Halloween Weekend (Oct. 28-31), Devon Ellington's short story "The Possession of Nattie Filmore" is available for free download in PDF format.

The story features hex breaker Jain Lazarus and cynical detective Wyatt East, the protagonists of the popular novels HEX BREAKER and OLD-FASHIONED DETECTIVE WORK, which launched the Jain Lazarus Adventures urban fantasy series, published by Solstice Publishing and available through the publisher or via Amazon.

Jain  is called in to Wyatt's turf to stop a frightening entity at a local haunted house.  When the entity puts Wyatt in danger, Jain is determined to stop it, no matter what the cost.

Fans of Billy Root, a supporting character in HEX BREAKER, will be disappointed that he doesn't feature in this short.  However, he is in the ensemble of the upcoming Jain Lazarus short holiday release "First Feet", and equally shares the stage in the upcoming third Jain Lazarus novel, CRAVE THE HUNT, to release in late 2017.
