By: Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce
Keynote speaker for the event will be Tim Sheehy, President of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), who will talk about the importance of regional collaboration and its impact on economic development in our region. Tim will also highlight the work of M7 in Waukesha County. For more than 150 years, the MMAC has been serving area businesses as a private, not-for-profit organization. Today MMAC represents approximately 1,800 member businesses with 300,000 employees in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington and Ozaukee counties and beyond.
Carol White, President and CEO of GBCC said, "We are pleased to have Tim speak on such an important topic for our region. Our sponsors for this event show how regionalism really plays a role for all of us – Irgens is based in downtown Milwaukee and working on one of the major projects in Brookfield; Network Health is based in Menasha and recently opened an office in Brookfield; Winter, Kloman, Moter & Repp, S.C. is a regional CPA/Accounting firm with offices in Watertown, Oconomowoc and Brookfield. What more confirmation do you need that we must recognize the value of looking beyond our own backyard?"
