GreenStreets Cleaners Attends America's Best Cleaners' Semi-Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA

SAN FRANCISCO - Oct. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Kevin Kneafsey, President and Owner of GreenStreets Cleaners, recently returned from the America's Best Cleaners^TM (ABC) National Affiliate Meeting, the nation's premier gathering of professionals in the garment care industry.  More than 30 Affiliates, partners, and guests of ABC from across the US met in Seattle, WA in September to discuss industry best practices and professional development.

The agenda of the meeting comprised presentations and discussions around industry and general best practices. Presenters at the Affiliate Meeting included Mark Jones of SPOT Business Systems, Harry Carranza of Select Risk Insurance, and Dave Troemel of marketing firm BeCreative360 as well as members of the ABC Executive Team.  The group also toured the plant and operations of the local ABC Affiliate Blue Sky Cleaners.

In alignment with the overall meeting theme of "Teamwork", attendees participated in a half-day breakout session on employee incentive and rewards programs.  "When you share best practices with professionals from across the country, good things are bound to happen," says Kneafsey.  "I came back from Seattle with real, applicable ideas about how I can encourage and incentivize my own team."

Kneafsey says that the other highlight of the meeting was a two-hour roundtable discussion on best business practices, during which Affiliates were invited to bring the one action or item that had the greatest positive impact on their business since the group last met in March.

"Because ABC affiliates don't compete with each other and have signed a non-disclosure agreement, the free exchange of information and ideas during the roundtable discussions are extremely valuable," says Kneafsey.  "These are other professionals operating at equal level of branding and service, and I've never found another group with the same level of support and resources."
