By: Walk for America Like most adults, Kevin L. McCrudden is also concerned about the well-being of America. He states, "I am concerned about the divisiveness, violence, frustration and the current dialogue in America. As the saying goes, 'a nation divided will fall. Ironically, we are commencing Walk for America during Hurricane Matthew, which is symbolic of the cultural environment in America right now." McCrudden is an international author and speaker and is known as "Mr. Motivation" and "America's CMO ~ Chief Motivation Officer" and as such is choosing to do something extraordinary. He is going to walk across America, for America. McCrudden's "Walk for America" will commence this Saturday, October 8th at 9:00am from Robert Wagner Park (Corner of 1st Place and Battery Place), in Manhattan and end in San Diego on January 2nd, National Motivation & Inspiration Day® a day McCrudden had passed by The United States Congress after the tragic events of 9-11-01, as well as New York State, which acknowledges January as "Motivation & Inspiration Month!" "This is a NON-POLITICAL Walk... it is a "PATRIOTIC WALK, says McCrudden. "I intend on having a daily conversation with America and average Americans to discuss issues that impact them. I will not be taking sides nor talking about one candidate or another, but rather the issues facing Americans and the personal accountability to overcome those challenges. President John F. Kennedy famously stated, 'ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.' I didn't serve in the military and I have not been a civil servant, police officer or fireman, so this is what I am doing for my country," stated McCrudden. As a first generation Irish American, McCrudden feels that he understands the plight of new immigrants in America and the "American Dream," but also understands how average Americans are fearful of the dramatic changes occurring in America. As a leader of thought and motivational and leadership speaker, he feels that he can contribute to addressing the challenges America is facing. McCrudden has created a Facebook page "The Walk for America" and will be using Facebook Live daily to inform people and interview people he meets along the way. His hope is to infuse a more thoughtful, motivational discussion about the current social environment in America and invites people and organizations to walk with him along his walk. "I want this walk to be less about me and more about the American public, says McCrudden. There are a lot of unhappy and scared people across America and I would like them to walk with me and share their stories and concerns. I am also asking fellow motivational and leadership speakers and life coaches to join me and walk with me and share advice. I want Civic Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Church Organizations, Schools and Universities to have me stop and speak, as well", concluded McCrudden. McCrudden will be walking in a southerly route and stopping at College Campuses, Towns and Villages along the way. HERE IS A LINK TO THE FACEBOOK PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/ End
