"Following Congressional Record Distinction, Dr. Clayton Lawrence Offers Sincere Gratitude to Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton"

WASHINGTON - Sept. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- On Monday, Dr. Clayton Lawrence was commemorated and honored by being officially recognized in The Congressional Record at the bequest of the honorable Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton. Dr. Lawrence, who is the CEO and President of Lawrence Executive Alliance of Professionals (LEAP), LLC, and the Chairman of LEAP Foundation DC, was praised and thanked for the indelible impact that he has made in the Washington, D.C. community, as a business leader, public servant, and philanthropist.

Dr. Lawrence was officially entered into The Congressional Record, Volume 162, Number 145, and while an entry into The Record marks one of the most significant achievements of Dr. Lawrence's career, following the commemoration, Dr. Lawrence was humble and adamant about shifting the praise back to Congresswoman Norton. He thanked her for her continued support of and tireless advocacy for small businesses, non-profits, and small business leaders.

Dr. Lawrence stated, "This is, undoubtedly, one of the most distinguished achievements that I have had the pleasure of receiving over the course of my career. Congresswoman Holmes Norton, since 2009, has invited Dr. Lawrence and the LEAP organizations to be engaged in a number of civic initiatives, including her annual Christmas Party on the Hill, Black Men and Boys Commission, and Congressional Art Competition. She has helped foster the leadership growth and educational support for many of the young men and women identified as being next-generation leaders by LEAP Foundation DC, and has given many of the young men and women the opportunity to serve directly at her annual events.
