By: Loop AI Labs

SAN FRANCISCO - Sept. 28, 2016 - PRLog -- For the second year in a row Loop AI Labs, a leading provider of unsupervised cognitive computing technologies, has been invited at NVIDIA's GPU Technology Conference (GTC), the largest and most important event of the year for GPU developers and the entire ecosystem.

The global GTC event series offer valuable training and a showcase of the most vital work in the computing industry today – including artificial intelligence and deep learning, virtual reality, and self-driving cars.

The Emerging Companies Summit (ECS) at GTC Europe is part of NVIDIA's commitment to nurturing a small number of promising startups that are leveraging GPU technology. Taking place on September 28th & 29th 2016 at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, ECS is a platform for participants to connect with potential investors, partners, customers and employees. More than a dozen ECS alumni have gotten a boost from their participation in previous events, including Oculus Rift (acquired by Facebook for $2 billion), Gaikai (acquired by Sony for $380 million), Natural Motion (acquired by Zynga for $527 million) and Magic Pony Technology (acquired by Twitter for $150 million).

Hand-picked by a panel of NVIDIA experts, ECS participants will exhibit their solutions within the GTC Europe Startup Village. Of these, a handful have been invited to present their technologies on stage.

The speakers have been selected based on the strength of their commercial
proposition, innovative use of GPU technology and presentation skills. Loop AI Labs' CEO Gianmauro Calfiore comments: "It is a great honor to be on the stage with the most important players and resourceful innovators of the industry. Our unsupervised cognitive computing platform is an exponential technology that allows any enterprise to use 100% of their data, including the dark data previously handled only by humans. The platform has been implemented by many leading organizations that – in order not to be disrupted by competitors – are embracing Cognitive Robotic Process Automation in the fourth industrial revolution."

The presenters include: GM Calafiore (Loop AI Labs), Dr. Erik Coelingh (Volvo Car Corporation), Costas Bekas (IBM Research), Thomas Schulthess (Swiss National Computing Centre), Alain Gonzalez (PSA Peugeot Citroën), Martin Englund (Facebook AI Research), Martin Enthed (IKEA), Dominik Grewe (Google Deepmind), Felix Friedmann (Audi), Klaus Engel (Siemens Healthcare), Erik Steen (GE Healthcare), Tim Wood (ING).
