The Brave Summit Conference in NYC on November 5th 2016

NEW YORK - Sept. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- On Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 9:00am – 3:00pm, Unleashed NY Organization will host The Brave Summit 2016 conference, which will bring generations of women and girls together for a one-day forum. Held at the Fordham Institute for Women and Girls in New York City, the day will consist of leaders, experts, and academia to drive cultural change, ignite females to break barriers and make a difference. Sponsored by Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service Institute for Women and Girls on our 100th Anniversary.'

Intriguing and interactive topics include "Crossing the Generational Divide", "Play Like a Girl:  Leveraging DNA" and "Sexism in the City" through the eyes of educators, entrepreneurs, playwrights, business leaders and high school students.  Connect with women and girls of all ages, including television journalist and our MC Contessa Brewer along with summit key note speaker,  supermodel and activist Emme.

What: Over 300 cross generations of girls in middle school, high school and college, along with women and men will be in attendance for this year's highly anticipated event. The Brave Summit's goal is to introduce Unveil Braveology; a socially missioned based company igniting power, passion and purpose across generations of women and girls in order to create sustainable change in gender reformation.

"It's our objective to stimulate a movement among the multi generations of girls and women, narrowing the divide and fostering a sense of sisterhood and relationships." States Dr. Stacey Radin, Founder and CEO of Unleashed NY.

Another important goal of The Brave Summit conference is to raise $250,000 in order to expand the organization's efforts nationally, expand Unleashed to college campuses, and to subsidize local programming.  In addition to bridging generations of women, girls and men with a common platform, The Brave Summit will foster unfiltered, authentic, difficult conversations that are critical but often avoided or ignored.

During the conference, the Unleashed model of power will be utilized as the foundation for the Summit's content and tone, which will engage participants in a transformational process. Cross generation panel discussions, workshops, dialogues and mentoring will take place as well.

New York City's hugging dog, Louboutina, will be in attendance at this year's event. This friendly golden retriever is famous for her warm embraces, firm handshakes and has become a rising star on social media. Louboutina enjoys wrapping her furry paws around strangers in the streets and continues to spread love and joy in New York City. Guests will have the opportunity to meet Louboutina, and hopefully steal a hug from this very special pup!
