Summit Educational Group partners with New York Cares

NEW YORK - Sept. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Summit Educational Group is proud to launch a new relationship with New York Cares as the curriculum provider for the organization's SAT prep program. New York Cares runs the largest free SAT prep course in NYC, increasing scores and opening up financial aid opportunities for more than 1,000 students every year. Utilizing Summit's latest curriculum as well as their unique "train the trainer" professional development, New York Cares now has the ability to teach over 400 volunteers how to run a successful SAT prep class. Joshua White, Summit's Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Training, along with Assistant Director, Vicki Strateman, spent time in NYC sharing their knowledge of the SAT test and their teaching styles and classroom management skills. White explains, "It's a comprehensive program, providing the Directors at New York Cares the materials and training needed to guide their volunteers." Having worked with dozens of schools and organizations across the country, Summit is proud to be part of the effort to change the lives of hundreds of low-income New York City high school students.
