Sprig Electric Promotes Six Members Of Its Executive Team And Names New Chief Information Officer

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Sept. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Sprig Electric, one of the largest electrical contractors in the Bay Area, announced a number of executive promotions today within its leadership team, including the appointment of three new Executive Vice Presidents and two Vice Presidents as well as the appointment of a Chief Information Officer and a new Division Manager. The promotions were announced by Mike Jurewicz, Sprig Electric's Chief Operating Officer.

New Executive Vice Presidents include Rick Clinton, Mike Glogovac, and Hossein Tofangsazan.  New Vice Presidents include Matt Nelson and Rob Valderrama. In addition, Mark Mandarelli was tapped as Chief Information Officer, a new role within the Executive Leadership team.  Chris Zimmer was promoted from Service Manager to Division Manager, Facilities Services & Energy Solutions.

New Executive Vice Presidents

Executive Vice President Rick Clinton has been instrumental in the development and evolution of Sprig Electric, and is the longest tenured member of the management team other than Founder Pepper Snyder. Clinton manages Sprig Electric's business development efforts, and oversees Sprig's Facilities Services Division, as well as the company's San Francisco operations. Clinton is primarily responsible for leading the development of strategic relationships with customers across the Bay Area.

Executive Vice President Mike Glogovac, LEED^® AP, manages Sprig Electric's Engineering and Design Services, as well as all estimating activities. Glogovac possesses broad design/build engineering, estimating, and project management experience. Glogovac's work ensures the reliability and completeness of each design and estimate before it passes to Sprig Electric customers.

Executive Vice President Hossein Tofangsazan, P. E., is a registered Professional Engineer with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Tofangsazan leads Sprig Electric's largest group of project managers, including Group Executives, Project Executives, and one Vice President. Tofangsazan immerses himself in many of the most complex projects, remaining active with the project through pre-construction, construction, and post-construction.

New Vice Presidents

Vice President Matt Nelson leads a team of project managers and project engineers, and oversees programs from the schematic design phase through the completion of construction. Nelson, who joined Sprig Electric in 2001, has served as a Senior Project Manager and Group Executive for the company.

Vice President Rob Valderrama serves as Director of Field Operations, and is an accomplished superintendent with over twenty-two years of varied electrical field experience. Valderrama formerly served as General Superintendent. Valderrama continues to ensure that the performance of construction operations is in compliance with specification and industry standards. Valderrama has held various positions within the electrical industry, including General Foreman, Pre-fabrication Superintendent, Area Superintendent, and General Superintendent.

Chief Information Officer

Mark Mandarelli, named Sprig Electric's Chief Information Officer, has more than 20 years of information technology experience and specializes in delivering technological solutions within the electrical and mechanical contracting industry. Mandarelli with his systems development and IT teams oversee all technology that is developed and deployed within Sprig Electric. Before joining Sprig Electric, Mandarelli served in several capacities for leading industry players including the Northern Transformer Corporation, Trimble Navigation Limited, and Accubid Systems Limited.

New Division Manager

Chris Zimmer has been named Division Manager for the Sprig Electric's Facilities Services & Energy Solutions Divisions. Zimmer is responsible for growing Sprig Electric's presence within the Facility Services market and for expanding into markets that take advantage of Sprig Electric's various service offerings with the sustainable renewable energy markets. Zimmer previously was Manager of Sprig Electric's Service Division.
