CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Aug. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- It's been said that the one certainty in life is change. In Change: Robots Driving Covered Wagons, author Glenn Proctor examines the eternal questions of life - Where have we come from? Where are we going? – through the lens of his evocative poetry. This spirited journey through the perils, merits and joys of progress is the final volume of The Finding Dust Trilogy – Proctor's look at life and death that is part autobiography, part commentary and all the result of decades spent watching and listening.

The award-winning journalist, mentor and leadership coach wants his poems to elicit responses: an agreeable nod, a wrinkled grimace, a flat chuckle, a blank stare or a reader feeling that a poem spoke specifically to them. From "Dreams Lost" on the plans of youth to "Charlie," (Glenn's grandfather who would have been 131 in 2016) there are poignant words certain to touch the soul of every reader. If that's not enough, readers are sure to see a reflection of themselves in the words of 85 contributors from across the U.S. and Canada, who have penned their own thoughts, definitions and takes on change.

After all, no matter how hard we try, "Change, time and weather can't be changed." It is the author's hope that this book will help readers ride the waves of change to the place where they need to be.

Praise for The Finding Dust Trilogy:

"I've never read anything like it. The author has an incredible ability to pull you into scenes of his life, one poem at a time. A great read!"

"If journalism is hard-boiled writing, here is the soft-boiled version from a hard-living journalist. The stirred and double-edged words of Glenn Proctor's poems take you deep, suddenly, into strong experiences and emotions." – Amazon review
