BrandGOV Creates New Public Outreach Site for the Women's Council for the NAREB

EAST BAY, Calif. - Aug. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- The Women's Council for the National Association of Real Estate Brokers unveiled its new state-of-the-art public outreach tool, an information and ecommerce website, at the Association's 69^th Annual Convention in Long Beach, California Sunday.  The project was developed by the Bay Area policy advocacy firm BrandGOV, Inc.  The company was awarded the contract recently by the Council's board of directors.

"BrandGOV completed the project seven days ahead of schedule," says the group's President Rolanda Wilson.  "We're impressed, and looking forward to having the site increase our brand presence and help find new sponsors for our community outreach efforts."

The Women's Council for NAREB is a national non-profit focused on housing and socio-economic issues and elevating the status of women in the real estate industry.  In addition to training and leadership programs for members, the group provides mentoring and scholarships for students interested in the profession; free financial literacy classes for the public; and a down-payment assistance grant for low-and-moderate income first-time homebuyers. It was founded 45 years ago and now has local chapters throughout the United States.

"The project was hectic; it required carefully assessing the group's communications goals and a complete site re-design that included a complicated integration of cloud computing features and other challenges," says BrandGOV CEO K. Patrice Williams.  Williams is an attorney and certified California lobbyist. She founded her company eight years ago as a marketing and outreach firm and added policy advocacy services last year.

The Women's Council is a part of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, the oldest minority trade association in the country.  NAREB works on educational and policy issues meant to ensure accessible and equal housing opportunities for all.
