Proforma ScoutPromotions Makes Donations to Local Charities

MILWAUKEE - Aug. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Proforma ScoutPromotions, a local marketing and branding agency in Milwaukee, WI, recently contributed to several local charities, including Haselden Shoot, Homes for Our Troops and the Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.

Candace Lillund, Owner of Proforma ScoutPromotions, donated over 100 decorated t-shirts for the volunteers of the 3^rd Annual Haselden Shoot, which raised nearly $80,000 to provide mortgage-free, specially adapted housing for veterans who were disabled in Afghanistan and Iraq. This was Lillund's first year working with Haselden Construction and Homes for Our Troops to support this cause.

"Besides being customers of mine, we have built a relationship through working together," said Lillund. "By doing so, I have come to understand how deeply important these causes are to them and to our community."

Proforma ScoutPromotions also recently donated golf balls, bags and apparel to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Milwaukee. The golf items were auctioned off for their NFL Alumni Golf Classic, their biggest fundraiser to support programs directed towards the children of the Metropolitan Milwaukee community. Lillund has been working with this organization for four years.

"It's personally fulfilling to participate in meaningful causes by participating through actions by volunteering and/or donating resources like merchandise, cash, services and time,'" Lillund said. "To some extent, I feel a responsibility to help out in affordable but meaningful ways to those causes that demonstrate responsible use of the donations they receive. It's good business and it's good for my community."

Proforma ScoutPromotions is involved in several other community organizations, including The Milwaukee Ovarian Cancer Golf Classic, in which Lillund provides volunteers with windbreakers and tumblers. This year, Lillund is planning to donate 200 decorated take-away bags to the Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity, which they will use for their Gala, their largest fundraiser. In her spare time, Lillund coaches tennis to local high school students.

"Those who have been hit by one of life's tragedies hopefully felt the supporting hands of one of these organizations at a time of despair and loss. I know, because I've been there," Lillund said.
