'In the Event Of' honored at Hollywood Book Festival

Harvey Goodman's political novel, 'In the Event Of', takes the Runner-Up prize in the General Fiction Category of the Hollywood Book Festival
 
WESTCLIFFE, Colo. - July 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Harvey Goodman's latest novel, 'In the Event Of', a political romp featuring satire, treatise, and perhaps prohecy, has been awarded the Runner-Up prize in the General Fiction category of the Hollywood Book Festival. His story highlights America's ever-growing split as the backdrop for one man's conspiracy of remedy.

This is Goodman's fourth book, all of which have garnered Runner-Up awards or First Place. His first two books, 'Along the Fortune Trail' and 'Winds of Redemption', both westerns,  were awarded the Runner-Up prizes in the Hollywood Book Festival and the Great Southwest Book Festival, respectively. His third book, 'So Too My Love', a memoir, was awarded the Gold/First Place prize in the Feathered Quill Book Awards.

Goodman, a former Denver Bronco, history teacher, high school principal, and school superintendent, is currently writing a new western, 'The Secret of El Salto' which has an expected release date of January, 2017.
