Along the Fortune Trail Wins Best Script at Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood

WESTCLIFFE, Colo. - June 28, 2018 - PRLog -- Harvey Goodman's screenplay, Along the Fortune Trail, has been awarded Best Script for 2018 in the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood competition (summer season). Goodman's feature screenplay is based on his award winning novel of the same name, published in 2009. The logline for the western script reads: An orphaned boy finds a home on a renowned cattle ranch where he grows to manhood and falls in love. But his life is turned upside down after he unwittingly kills an outlaw and embarks on a perilous journey in pursuit of the reward.

Mr. Goodman has teamed with veteran filmmaker/director Doug Metzger. Together they are seeking funding for an indie production to be filmed in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. Current conditional attachments to the project include Carla Hool Casting, Freddy Waff, Production Designer; Sam Tischler, Unit Production Manager; Molly Bruner, Production Accountant; Clay Peres, Location Manager; Clay Lilley, Head Wrangler.
