Follow on Google News | Emergency Services Conference Series Moves To Provo, UtBy: EMS Associates EMS Associates currently has two conference locations: Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Provo, Utah. For 40 years of prehospital and EMS education, the Utah conference was being held at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beginning November 2016, Conference Directors, Elle Martin and Dr. Doug Murdock will be bringing the conference back to Provo, Utah, where it was initially founded. Elle and Doug both bring to EMS Associates the passion of providing quality education and prehospital care to EMT's, law enforcement, nurses, and all emergency first responders. EMS Associates brings in some of the nation's top EMS educators to lecture at these conferences, providing the conference attendees with cutting edge education and medical intervention. The conference offers a 1-day pre-conference workshop, followed by a 3-day core conference. The pre-conference workshops provides hands-on training in the areas of back boarding, airway management, patient extrication and a cadaver workshop.
