GULF BREEZE, Fla. - Back by popular demand, Fred and Tia Robbins announced today the
return of their signature program, 'The Game Plan' camp for local high school football players.
The event will take place June 22-24, at Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in
Gulf Breeze, FL, and is supported by the Robbins' nonprofit, Mr. Robbins Neighborhood.

The Game Plan is a free, three-day career development and football camp for aspiring athletes
primarily from underfunded schools and low-income neighborhoods. The intensive, interactive
program is designed to arm athletes with the knowledge and tools to succeed in athletics from a
business and skills perspective, while also helping them recognize what success looks like outside
of their athletic abilities.
"Statistics show that only 1.6% of high school football players will make it to the pros," says
founder and former NFL defensive tackle Fred Robbins. We have designed 'The Game Plan' to
prepare our aspiring athletes for this reality. Through the curriculum and the speakers we bring in
from around the country, our athletes leave our camp inspired and prepared to set up their own
game plan for success."

The core strategy of The Game Plan is centered on five focus areas; football as a business,
football fitness and training, education, career exploration and life skills. This unique approach
challenges athletes on the field by receiving specialized training from top athletic trainers, as well
as off the field by engaging them in unique workshops taught by leaders, industry professionals
and professional athletes.

In 2012, Robbins retired from a 12-year NFL career and returned to his hometown of Pensacola.
He founded Mr. Robbins' Neighborhood two years later and held his inaugural youth camp that
summer. The organization, which recently re-launched as its own 501c3 to expand its reach and
improve its programs offerings for the community's specific needs, is proud to once again offer
this excellent program.
"Tia and I are excited to bring back The Game Plan and help aspiring youth in our community,"
said Robbins. "Pensacola has some of the highest high school dropout rates in the state. We
believe that the content and knowledge set forth through Mr. Robbins' Neighborhood principles
and our camp, can inspire hope and provide encouragement to the area's athletes who have the
desire to reach for the stars."
The camp is open to all local high school football players, ages 14-18. To register for the free,
three-day camp, please email info@mrrobbinsneighborhood.org or visit

About Mr. Robbins' Neighborhood

Mr. Robbins' Neighborhood (MRN) was established in 2014 by 12-year NFL veteran Fred
Robbins and his wife, Tia. The organization's foundation is rooted in the couple's passion to
provide guidance and mentorship to young athletes on their life journeys.
The harsh reality is 99.81 percent of high school athletes who participate in sports do not achieve
a professional sports dream. Even for those who do play professionally, athletic careers are often
short lived. The purpose of Mr. Robbins' Neighborhood is to address this issue. MRN works to
inform student athletes of the realities of chasing a professional sports career while arming them
with the knowledge and skills to achieve success in non-sports arenas. The MRN program is
rooted in the effort to broaden the landscape of what inspiration, dreams and goals can look like
for the youth of Pensacola. The organization's ultimate goal is to decrease the number of young
athletes who are not prepared at the end of a high school, collegiate or professional career to
transition to a new profession and realize success.
