FPA New Jersey Fall Conference: Planning From the Inside Out

MONTCLAIR, N.J. - June 8, 2016 - PRLog -- UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ The Financial Planning Association of New Jersey (FPANJ) has announced the date and preliminary details for its Fall  Conference, on Thursday, October 20 at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin, New Jersey. Check-in begins at 7 a.m., and programs will follow from 8:30  a.m. - 5 p.m. Full details, like early bird registration and programming, will follow shortly.

We're especially excited to welcome keynote speaker Roy Diliberto, ChFC, CFP®, named as one of Investment Advisor Magazine's "25 Most Influential People in the Financial Planning Profession."

Diliberto is Founder/Senior Planner of RTD Financial Advisors, Inc. He will speak on "Planning from the Inside Out". While most planners are well-trained on the quantitative (exterior) aspects of financial planning, Diliberto directs our attention to the very important qualitative (interior) information required to serve clients' needs.

Financial Planning Magazine also recently named him to the "Movers and Shakers" hall of fame, and he is the 2015 recipient of the Financial Planning Association's P. Kemp Fain, Jr award. This award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the financial planning profession. Diliberto was also named as one of 15 Transformational Advisers in 2013 for his approach to behavioral finance.

"We've been seeing the trend in educating advisers on a holistic approach to working with their clients, including their psychology of dealing with money and investments. I feel this will further enhance our abilities to meet our clients' needs in an ever-changing market."

The Fall Conference is also the event where we recognize excellence in our members through awards for Lifetime Achievement, Heart of Financial Planning, and volunteerism for the FPANJ chapter.
