WRC Presents Authors on a Mastermind Panel Discussing How to Write, Publish and Promote Books

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - June 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The Writers Resource Center (WRC) will present some of the area's most accomplished authors in a panel discussion on how to write, publish and promote books at its next seminar.  Panelists will include Fairfield writer Janie P. Bess; Vacaville writers Naomi Connor and Sheila Keller; and Bay Area writers Wanda B. Campbell and Vicki Ward. The meeting will be held on Saturday, June 11th, from 10 am to 12 noon at 1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield, room 113.  Seating is limited;please RSVP by  emailing janiepbess@yahoo.com .  Admission is free for members; non-members pay a small fee.  Membership applications will be available at the meeting and complementary refreshments will be served.

The panelists have numerous published books with several winning national acclaim.  Wanda B. Campbell is a prolific Christian romance writer, having authored and published more than ten books.  She's won national awards for her work and has been on best seller lists more than once. One of her most recent books, "Illusions," has gotten particular notice; it tells the story of a church pastor addicted to pornography. Campbell also owns a publishing company.

Anthology author Vicki Ward has won awards for her "Sisthas" series of books, a collection of stories about older women overcoming challenges. The publications have been used in workshops and classes at U.C. Berkeley and Diablo Valley College.

Naomi Connor has written several children's books. She has presented readings of one of them, "Big Brown Eyes," in kindergarten classes at Fairfield schools.  The beautifully-illustrated book has gotten great reviews from parents.

WRC President Janie P. Bess is author of the the acclaimed memoir "Visions - A Faith Inspired Journey of the Human Spirit."  The book chronicles her fight to help her severely disabled son live an independent life.

Sheila Keller writes self-help books and young adult fiction.  Her novel for teens, "Desperado Moon," has received high marks from readers. The book and those of all of the other panelists can be found on Amazon.

Bess says this session will give attendees the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of authors who have "been there and done that."
